The Bullet
I worked with the Bullet to revamp their visual brand identity and redesign the publication’s logo. I built refreshed newsletter templates in MailChimp and worked with illustrator Monica Smiley to create a visual style to match the brand’s playful, irreverent personality. I also led the launch of a weekly lifestyle edition title The Weekend Shot, reporting on news in the areas of fashion, beauty, home, food, travel, and wellness. Timely and direct coverage of these subjects has been attractive to advertisers, and The Weekend Shot has has grown to be an important revenue stream for the company through the inclusion of sponsored content and partner features.
